Volunteer

There are numerous categories of membership.  

• Senior Members

Senior members are adult members (ages 18 and up). Aerospace Education Members (AEMs) are one category of senior membership. These educators use CAP's aerospace/STEM education material with their students as they wish. AEMs do not wear a CAP uniform, are not members of a CAP squadron, and cannot achieve rank.

• Officers

Officers join (ages 18 and up) and may be allocated rank equivalent to military service rank. They pick a track for professional development and lead an area.
